| What are the different levels about? Again, like most organisations, there are different levels in Freemasonry. At the basic level, known as ‘the Craft’, Freemasonry is split into three degrees. They begin with the degree of the ‘Entered Apprentice’. This first degree represents the apprentice of the working stonemason who learns how to use the ‘tools of the trade’. After a period of time they advance to firstly a ‘Fellow (of the) Craft’ and then on to the level of ‘Master Mason’. |
