| WELCOME OUR NEW BROTHERS SEPTEMBER2009
 |
| BRO. CHARLES BREMER
Born in Minnesota and calling Denver a second home, Charles
had an interest in Masonry since discovering several of his late relatives were
Masons. After a long pursuit, 19 seemed to be what he was looking for with a
progressive approach encompassed with an active lodge culture, this is what he
thought Masonry should be like.
Charles is a 2006 graduate
of Dunwoody and is currently finishing up his Bachelors in Business
Administration from Metropolitan State University. While waiting to operate his
own business one day he occupies his time with running, biking, snowboarding,
live music, Belgian beer, history, and the arts. Charles is excited to be part
of 19 and is looking forward to becoming more involved in the outreaches of Masonry.

| BRO. CHAD NOVAK
Chad’s
story begins in Omaha, Nebraska, the heartland of America, where folks are
raised to put elbow grease into every
job and follow their passions. One evening, after a hearty hot-dish dinner,
Chad decided to venture north to Minnesota, to attend the Minneapolis College
of Art and Design, a private four-year college where he studied the liberal
arts.
After
graduating, Chad explored his interest in advertising as freelance creative
copywriter for several Fortune 500 clients. A couple years later, he began
writing for a popular cable television series and producing local commercials
and independent films. Now, he enjoys managing a clothing boutique in south
Minneapolis where he provides style guidance to discriminating gentlemen and
aspiring philistines.

| BRO. PATRICK WARTHEN
Patrick Warthen was born in Wiesbaden, Germany and grew up among the cathedrals and castles of Europe. Having moved to the United States at an early age, he traveled extensively from state to state as his father was relocated. Never having lived in one place more than three or four years his entire life, it seemed natural for him to find an occupation will allow him to continue traveling the world, and thus he finds himself in the US Navy.
Throughout the 24 countries he has visited, among his favorite landmarks where the houses of worship, be they Buddhist Temples, Catholic Monasteries, Islamic Mosques, or any of the others too numerous to mention here. For him, the older simply meant the better.
The interest in Masonry for this Brother came at an early age as well. In the days before the Internet he spent many afternoons after school in the library waiting to be picked up, and often came across references about the Free Masons which were always of great fascination to him. Having finally decided to seek out what has intrigued him for many years, he looks forward to learning even more and helping any and all whom he can along their journey.
